IWC 2025 BRUSSELS

I used a 2102 Lowland Thracian army with Highland allies

My first opponent would be Adrian and his massive 6201 Middle Formative Meso Americans. I had allowed it by mistake but felt it was not an unbalance in the tournament

I had out scouted him easily and we both could use terrain so terrain was not a real problem

I deployed my infantry to the left and my cavalry to the right

And so we both just went happily towards each other . I hoped my reliable allies and their nobles would tip the balance .

My cavalry did not hesitate but there was a cost. My TUGs are mostly by 4

The whole line is quickly engaged on the whole length of it

My right flank is disintegrating

But my left flank will quickly get the upper hand. I will kill 8 TUGs and 2 SUGS for a total of 12 points and I lost 3 TUGS and 3 SUGS so when time was called to stop the games the end result was 12-11

I needed one more turn, kill one more TUG but it did not happen

A violent battle with few subtleties but a very enjoyable game with a nice opponent
