So sunday afternoon I was to meet Roger and his nellies from the Thaï Kingdoms.

Cavalry vs Nellies was not a recipe I enjoyed but my army being shooty I might hurt the nellies a lot .

The list as a reminder

ree

Outscouting was not bad at all

ree

I decided to go loose vs loose in the terrain and also go for the nellies with some skilled javelins. One of my small SUP TUGs is sent forward to slow down the nelliewall

ree

On the other flank I will have to be very cautious but I have a lot of firing files that can make a difference

ree

A perplexed Thaï king

ree

So I took a chance and my skirmishers managed to kill one nellie base where there were two of them . That should make him a bit more prudent

ree

Manoeuvring

ree

I could tackle his infantry but the nellies are far too dangerous

ree

Before

And after . My left flank shooting was excellent and the turn after the nellies will die but in the center my cav got caught by his infantry .

So now from memory my cavalry will kill the infantry with the help of the SUP TUG on their left. But as I will have to pursue, those sup will smash into a nellie TUG and die .

The game will end 6-6

I had modified the way I used the army and it worked rather well . I will reuse them later but it is not an easy army to play with . Adding shoot&charge might be fun but it is costly .
