BORNEL 2025 JOUR DEUX le matin

So a sunny sunday morning , facing Fred and his Seleucid army. One again some pointy sticks

Being once again outscouted I deployed defensively and used a terrain that I got in the center. Very similar to game one.

I feared being outflanked if I got out with my pikes and as my PA infantry would not be a match for seleucid pikes , even vs cataphracts and some cretan archers were looming in that area

I made the same mistake I did during game one. I tried to manoeuvre those welsh tribals . I should have gone straight forward. I tried to turn them and have the move to protect the flank of my skilled PB that were there . I should have gone straight forward . fred cautiously waited the result of the battle on the flank where he used some thracians and shooty skirmishers

I finally won on that flank but it was costly, too costly for me to get out "en force" . The units you see upper corner left are dead Seleucid guys

On my right flank , my units suffered from the skilled Cretan archers .

The end game result was 7- 4 as I lost a TUG to those pesky Cretans
