A last game vs maharadjah Renaud and his Rajput army . I expected some Nellies but there were few of them

As usual I was outscouted so Renaud deployed rather freely avoiding my skilled PB . Perhaps next time I should disperse them in my commands . It would be more efficient and find a way to coordinate it with the allied pikes

ree

My skilled PB are on the left of the picture

ree

We are both manoeuvring to get our best units in position

ree

Renaud will avoid my skilled shooters powerful advance and I wait for his infantry, a Tibetan ally to attack my own flank

ree
ree

I advance but he is still far away

ree

Will we get some action soon ?

ree

A view from Renaud's point of view

ree

The fight is on and it's not an easy fight for me

ree

everything is in place

ree

I delay as much as possible but will loose some TUGS

ree

His nellies did charge and I made 3 hits

ree

and they died

ree

The heroic crossbowmen held till the end

We were engaged in fierce battles but lack of time will end the game

If I remember well, it ended 4-4 ( results were never published )

Philippe, my first opponent, won the tournament bravo to him

Using a PB army was an experience. I should try once again but need to think about the army list and organisation.

Some players insisted that it was unfair of me to use stakes as it would not allow my mounted opponents to get to grips and that playing defensively was very unsporting

They should have a better look at it I also attacked.

Some people should remember Agincourt but I will go back to Bornel 2026 but with a very different army

Some other pictures
